Perform one or more of the following operations in the manufacturing of an aluminum knuckle for automobiles:
dye penetrant equipment and analysis, gate cut equipment; heat treat equipment; x-ray equipment for multiple production lines After initial training, associate will be cross trained in more than one step of the process Use tools such as broom, computer monitor, button, scanner, computer printer, rake and floor jack, air sander and air hose Physical effort moving lightweight materials Know and maintain production quantities & quality Check quality of products and parts to be used for production Other tasks as assigned Preferred Skills:
Ability to work with others in a team environment Able and willing to follow work instructions Good problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills, able to build friendly work relationships Familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures Minimum Experienced Required:
None Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma/ GED Or demonstrate minimum work skill ability through Work Keys Assessments Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand 8 hrs; to use hands and fingers; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; walk; reach with hands and arms; talk and/or hear; and withstand heated area.
